4. Choose Mailbox or live chat
Mailbox is for a message someone can read and answer later. Live chat begins with an invitation that the other person accepts. It’s a separate conversation space for talking back and forth when you both want to. An online indicator doesn’t mean someone is free to talk or owes a reply.
